Being Like a Bush

So many of us want to have an encounter with God like Moses, we want the close fellowship that Moses has with God; we want God to call us His friend and speak with us face to face. But what does God want? Today the Lord says He would rather us be like the bush that He used to get the attention of Moses than to be like Moses. I wanted to know what made the bush so special to God and why He would want His people to be like it. Here is what He said:

1.       The bush was available – no hindrances (nothing/no one in the way)

2.       The bush would not talk back- make excuses (not worthy/able)

3.       The bush would not steal His glory – “look at me” “look what I did”

4.       The bush was ready to be used – prepared for service (dealt with all heart issues)

5.       The bush knew God would catch it on fire but not to destroy it – make us passionate atten grabbers/Holy Ghost empowerment

This is what God is looking for, a people who are available, who will not make excuses, steal His glory (fame), who will be ready at all times to be used by Him and who will allow Him to catch them on fire so others will be drawn by the blaze!
